Why is EWA Travel so unique that a significant portion of the NGO community has selected EWA as their travel management company? We believe the primary factors are our highly talented and experienced management staff and international travel counselors (averaging 23 years’ experience). Please note our Staff page for their brief bios. We also believe that our mid-size corporate structure, with a flat organizational structure, allows for total team focus to service each of our very valued clients. Association Travel Services
EWA Travel understands that most Associations have special travel requirements that include more than employee travel but also travel for its members, board of directors, speakers and other guest travel. We have the essential experience and personnel to address and leverage all of these various types of travel to ensure cost and time savings as well as quality control and management. Since 1976, EWA Travel has worked with hundreds of associations to provide outstanding travel services.
EWA Travel is a licensee of iBank, the industry's premiere Travel Management Reporting Tool. iBank, a web enabled application from Cornerstone Information Systems, is a dynamic, secure, password-protected online reporting system. Once registered, users can view, print and share reports of travel purchases. iBank has both detailed and summary reports focusing on air, hotel, car, and professional consulting fee transactions. And best of all, it's free. EWA Travel's corporate client accounts enjoy unlimited use of iBank at no charge. For usability, convenience, and flexibility, no other online reporting tool comes close. With iBank, you have instant access to your company’s vital travel information and data available on 24/7 basis. iBank is an Internet based system which gives you direct online access. You will receive a unique User ID and Password to protect your data for your use only. iBank uses our Sabre Reservation System to gather bookings and then sends this information via the internet to the secure iBank server. Once the data is received by the iBank server, the information is loaded and immediately available for up to the minute reporting from around the world twenty four hours a day, seven days a week. iBank provides reporting and services to actively track and view spend by vendor to manage current preferred air, car, or hotel travel to assist in reducing and controlling costs. In policy / risk management, the contractor is able to produce reports that indicate what exceptions to travel policies were made and if risks played a part in the reason for the exceptions (with people concerns being the primary motive). Travel Management issues and iBank solutions:
We spend a significant amount of time and money producing travel spend reports and they are often outdated by the time we are ready to use them
iBank enables you, via the web, to run 120 standard and unlimited custom reports that provide you with an up-to-the-minute, overall picture of your global travel spend.
When I sit down with my preferred vendors I am forced to rely on their historical information to negotiate my pricing
iBank enables you to actively track your real-time spend by vendor so that you can better manage and negotiate preferred contracts.
If management came to me and demanded to know where all of our travelers are right now I couldn't tell them
At a moment’s notice iBank provides you the ability to report on the location of all of your travelers worldwide
Our travel data resides with numerous vendors and when we want to see a consolidated view we can’t
iBank consolidates data from multiple sources and provides you with a single, comprehensive view of your global travel information
Our CFO keeps asking why we are spending so much money on travel in spite of our travel policy and I don’t have the data I need to answer him
iBank provides you with access to the information necessary to actively monitor and report on travel policy compliance
In addition to the online iBank reporting and travel management system, EWA makes available to its clients a wide variety of customized reports prepared by EWA using the TRAMS Report System. Virtually any type of travel report using TRAMS can be accomplished by our helpful back office personnel. These reports normally are issued monthly (within one week after the end of the month) but can be issued for any period you wish, and can be customized to the format and type of most beneficial to your organization. The reports are up-to-the-minute and accurate.

Humanitarian, Religious and Missionary Airfares Available to Qualified EWA Clients
EWA Travel offers special humanitarian-religious-missionary airfares (HRM airfares). These special airfares are restricted to our clients whom belong to or travel on behalf of 501c3 qualified religious, humanitarian or missionary organizations. The special fares are offered through EWA Travel by more than two dozen global air carriers with some airlines offering both economy and business class service. Once your organization and travelers qualify for the HRM airfares, EWA will provide an option during the flight reservation process where the HRM airfare is presented along with the standard commercial airfare. HRM airfares can save your organization up to 30% off round-trip itineraries and up to 65% off one way routings. The fares are global and not limited to U.S. point of sale. In some instances, the standard commercial fares will be less costly and in other cases the HRM fares (and/or conditions ) will be better. Letterhead from the sending organization is required stating that travel is for mission/humanitarian purposes.
