He sold the business after three years to begin a travel career with Pan Am at Dulles Airport. After four years, when Pan Am ceased operations, Tony was transferred to Delta. Tony was then recruited to work at Thomas Cooke Travel/World Bank in Washington as a quality control/travel counselor.
Tony was then promoted to Thomas Cooke's Quality Control Supervisor for the Eastern Region at 2 Penn Plaza in New York City. For more than one year, he traveled, each week, throughout the East Coast. Tony says, "I lived out of a suitcase and stayed at hotels five days a week, just about every week. So, if anyone appreciates just how hard constant business travel can be, it would be me!"
Tony then worked for World Travel Partners in Falls Church and, in 1993, joined EWA's Herndon office In 2001, Tony moved to Los Angeles to head EWA's Western Regional office.
Tony says, "My travels mostly took place when I was working at Pan Am and I got to see all corners of the world. My most extensive travel experiences have been in Europe as I've visited most of the major Western European cities once or twice. My hobbies are travel, dining out, swimming and spending time at the beach and sports, mainly, German Soccer and Miami Dolphins NFL football. I'm also a huge fan of the sitcom, Seinfeld, and I love everything about the decade of the 70's."
