Grew up in rural Southern New Jersey. Graduated from Drake University (1975-1979) Journalism Major. In 1980, worked for a marketing firm in Des Moines, IA selling to the US Military Exchange system

Got into the travel business in 1984. With EWA since 1986. Married since 1982, two grown children, lives in Falls Church, VA

Cruise travel experiences – cruises in Alaska, Mediterranean, Baja California and Mexico, Caribbean. Cruise in July to Scandinavia and Russia.

Other travels include central and southern Spain, London, Paris, Berlin, Munich, Morocco, Italy (Tuscany region, Venice, Florence, Rome, Sardinia, Almalfi coast).  China, Japan, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Philippines and South Africa. 

Domestic travel favorite trips  –  driving the Pacific Coast highway  (Route 1) from San Francisco to Los Angeles, ballooning and gliding in the Arizona desert, salmon and halibut fishing in Alaska.

Hobbies and spare time – recently taken up golf. On the course every weekend.   Enjoys gardening, antiquing, good food, home entertaining, and exploring new places that entice the senses. Not unusual to drive a couple hours on a weekend to enjoy a good dinner in Philadelphia, shop for exquisite pastries in a Frederick bakery, sample wines in a central Virginia vineyard, or explore antique shops in rural West Virginia towns.
